1. Scope
This policy covers the CSE Codex PH website and the enrolled review desk. It does not cover CSC websites, GCash itself, or any page we do not operate.
2. Information we collect
Account data: name, email, password (stored by Firebase Authentication, not in readable form on our pages), and the role of your account (student or reviewer staff).
Enrollment data: whether access is active, the access end date, and the QR Ph payment record tied to that account.
Study data: practice answers, mock scores, progress, titles earned, Word Hunt activity, and similar desk activity.
Technical data: basic device and browser data needed to keep you signed in, remember light or night mode on your device, and keep the site secure.
We do not ask for your GCash PIN, OTP, or card numbers. Never send those to us.
3. How we use it
To create and secure your account.
To open, renew, or close paid access after QR Ph payment is confirmed.
To score practice and mock exams, show explanations, and display progress and titles.
To send service notices you request (for example a password reset) and desk announcements your reviewer publishes.
To protect the question bank against sharing and abuse.
We do not sell student lists. We do not use your study record for public advertising.
4. Who sees it
CSE Codex PH reviewers and technical staff who operate the desk.
Firebase (Google) as the authentication and database provider that hosts account and progress records.
Your reviewer sees the email and name you registered, so a payment can be matched to the right account if support is needed.
We do not publish your scores to other students.
5. QR Ph and payment records
QR Ph checkout is handled on this site. GCash, Maya, or your bank app are separate services. Their own privacy rules apply to the payment you send.
We do not store your wallet PIN, OTP, or card numbers. Keep your QR Ph or wallet reference with the email you registered.
6. Cookies and local storage
The site uses local storage to keep you signed in and to remember night mode on public pages. These are for the site to work, not for third-party ads.
7. Retention
We keep account and study records while your account exists and as long as needed to run access, prevent abuse, and meet bookkeeping needs.
You may ask us to close an account. We may retain limited records (for example that an email was enrolled) where we must protect the question bank or resolve a payment question.
8. Your choices
You may correct your display name from the details you gave us, request a password reset, or ask that your account be closed.
Write to your CSE Codex PH reviewer from the same email you registered. We will not change another person's access based on a message from a different address.
9. Children
The desk is built for people preparing for the Professional Civil Service Exam. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian should review these policies and the enrollment payment with you.
10. Changes
If we change this policy in a material way, we will update the date on this page. The current version always applies to new data we collect.
These pages explain how CSE Codex PH runs. They are not a substitute for official CSC rules. All policies
